Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Senior Electrical Superintendent for a large-scale data center project in the Indianapolis area. The role oversees electrical construction, budgeting, and safety across a ~100-strong team.

The position offers competitive hourly pay and per diems for out-of-area work on a multi-year project. Ideal candidates have 10+ years in electrical supervision, union experience, and a strong track record on mission-critical builds, with a degree in Electrical Engineering or related field

Qualifications

• 10+ years as Electrical Superintendent in construction.
• Experience on large-scale projects with budgets of $500M+.
• Mission-critical data center project experience preferred; EV/Pharma acceptable.
• Strong site coordination and leadership abilities.
• Proficient in cost analysis and budgeting for electrical components.
• Must have union experience now or in the past.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Strong knowledge of electrical codes and safety regulations.
• Willingness to travel extensively and manage multiple projects.
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all electrical construction aspects: design, planning, installation, testing, maintenance.
• Ensure compliance with codes and standards.
• Coordinate with site managers, engineers, and teams for smooth execution.
• Manage ~100 electricians, ensuring quality and safety.
• Conduct cost analysis and budgeting for electrical components.
• Handle mission-critical aspects to ensure robust, reliable systems.
• Work on hyperscale projects with large-scale electrical needs.
• Uphold safety regulations and procedures on site.
