Job summary

M.C. Dean is seeking a Senior Superintendent to lead security installation and MEP projects, directing labor, budgets, schedules, and safety compliance across complex facilities. You will coordinate with owners, designers, and subcontractors, ensuring on-time delivery and adherence to plans and SOWs.

Qualifications

• Willingness to work long site rotations or travel extensively (up to 100%).
• Client background check required for this role.
• High School Diploma with 12+ years electrical industry experience.
• State or Local Journeyman Electrician License.
• Master Electrician License preferred.
• OSHA 30-Hour Construction Safety Certification.
• NFPA 70E Arc Flash & Electrical Safety Certification (Nice to have).
• Experience leading MEP commissioning, testing & balancing; knowledge of MEP systems in data centers.
• Proficiency with BIM/Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD and coordination workflows.
• Vendor/subcontractor management including procurement, expediting, and change management.
• Strong NEC/NFPA regulatory and code knowledge.
• Site logistics, QA, punch lists, and asset documentation proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Manage security installation projects with 5–10 personnel and multi-million value.
• Coordinate with senior management, owners, and contractors to resolve issues.
• Schedule work to meet deadlines and budget.
• Assign labor and supervise field crews; mentor technicians.
• Oversee construction and maintenance of facilities and systems.
• Interpret plans and contract terms for staff and clients; manage changes.
• Ensure safety, quality, and compliance across sites.
• Maintain project records and provide status updates to management.
• Interface with customers to address status and concerns.
