Job summary

M.C. Dean, Inc. is seeking a Superintendent to lead construction and maintenance of facilities and automation systems. You will estimate, develop, and execute integrated project plans, directing scheduling and coordinating activities on site.

Responsibilities include safety plan adherence, quality control, material and labor planning, permits, and collaboration with engineers to drive prefab processes. Travel may be required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with 12+ years of experience.
• 11+ years in the construction industry.
• 4+ years' experience managing construction projects as a Superintendent.
• Experience with scheduling, job cost reports, estimating, safety, documentation, and QC.

Responsibilities

• Utilize and understand project safety plans and develop building schedules with a 12+ week look ahead.
• Perform quality reviews of design documentation and analyze drawing packages for constructability.
• Conduct take-offs, manage daily material planning, and update look ahead forecasts.
• Support logistics planning for personnel and equipment; track project metrics.
• Ensure permits, licenses, and inspections are identified and obtained before work.
• Manage crew activities; ensure work is installed on time and monitor labor requirements.
• Coordinate with HR on safety and staffing; hire applicable candidates.
• Participate in resource allocation meetings and develop resource-loaded schedules.
• Complete project documentation per M.C. Dean standards (Change Orders, RFIs, Daily Reports).
• Oversee prefab process, scheduling, and pre-fabrication activities.
• Follow safety procedures and lead ORM meetings; review AHA documents.
