Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, Business, Life Sciences, or a related field.
• Master's degree (MBA, MA in Communications, or similar) preferred.
• 8–10 years of progressive experience in communications, marketing communications, or corporate communications, preferably within medical devices, healthcare, or life sciences.
• Proven experience leading product and/or pipeline communications for complex portfolios.
• Strong ability to translate technical and clinical concepts into clear, compelling messaging.
• Demonstrated success working in highly matrixed, cross-functional environments with independence, speed and accountability.
• Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills.
• Experience managing agencies, vendors, and multiple projects simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• Develop communications strategies informed by customer insights, market dynamics, competitive intelligence and business priorities to strengthen differentiation and support adoption for the Trauma portfolio.
• Partner with cross-functional stakeholders (Marketing, R&D, Medical Affairs, Regulatory, and Commercial) to implement high-impact activations, clear narratives, and compelling pipeline storytelling to support portfolio growth
• Lead integrated communications across earned, owned, shared and paid channels, including media strategy, digital and social activation, executive thought leadership and customer-facing content.
• Ensure all communications are accurate, consistent, and compliant with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and industry standards.
• Manage agency partners and external vendors to deliver high‑quality communications activations on time and within budget.
• Support executive and leadership communications related to Trauma product innovation and pipeline milestones.
• Analyze performance metrics and stakeholder feedback to continuously improve communication effectiveness and impact.
• Lead communications planning for priority moments including product milestones, congresses and other customer engagement moments, ensuring cohesive and impactful activation.
