Job summary

Johnson & Johnson is seeking a Senior Manager, Product & Pipeline Communications – Trauma to lead strategic communications for the Trauma portfolio and strengthen brand credibility.

You will partner with Marketing, R&D, Medical Affairs and Regulatory to translate complex clinical data into clear, compliant messaging that supports launches, lifecycle management and future innovation. Expect matrixed collaboration and travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8–10 years of progressive experience in communications, marketing communications, or corporate communications within medical devices, healthcare, or life sciences.
• Proven experience leading product and/or pipeline communications for complex portfolios.
• Strong ability to translate technical and clinical concepts into clear, compelling messaging.
• Experience in highly matrixed environments with independence, speed and accountability.

Responsibilities

• Develop communications strategies informed by customer insights, market dynamics, competitive intelligence and business priorities.
• Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to implement activations and compelling pipeline storytelling.
• Lead integrated communications across earned, owned, shared and paid channels.
• Ensure communications are accurate, compliant with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
• Manage agencies and external vendors to deliver activations on time and within budget.
• Support executive and leadership communications related to Trauma product innovation and milestones.
• Analyze performance metrics and stakeholder feedback to improve effectiveness.
• Lead communications planning for priority moments like milestones and congresses.
