Job summary

University-Health-3 seeks a Senior Trauma Outcomes Coordinator with a background in trauma nursing and performance improvement to advance the trauma quality program across the care continuum.

The role focuses on data-driven PI initiatives, reporting, and collaboration with Trauma Services to improve care from admission to disposition, with emphasis on training new coordinators and ensuring adherence to state and national benchmarks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in professional nursing required.
• 3+ years of Trauma PI experience, including ACS Verified trauma program.
• RN licensure in Texas or reciprocity proof.
• BLS certification current.
• TNCC Provider within 12 months of hire.
• TOPIC and TCAR/PCAR or equivalent training within 12 months.

Responsibilities

• Assist trauma quality program to promote optimal and efficient services across the continuum of trauma care.
• Maintain records of trauma PI activities and secure the PI database.
• Analyze information to develop or modify PI initiatives and create customized reports.
• Lead or facilitate process improvement efforts and train new Trauma Outcomes Coordinators.
