Job summary

LVI Associates seeks a Utility Design Manager to lead utility coordination, relocation planning, and design for major transportation projects valued at $250M+ with relocation budgets over $50M. The role oversees consultants, coordinates stakeholders, and drives conflicts to resolution through design and construction.

The position requires overseeing utility inventories, schedules, and cost estimates, with collaboration across roadway, bridge, drainage, and other disciplines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, MEP Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of utility coordination or management on Design-Build/P3 projects.
• Knowledge of utility relocation processes and stakeholder coordination.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage utility design consultants and deliverables.
• Coordinate with utility owners and contractors to resolve issues.
• Support procurement and oversight of utility engineering services.
• Facilitate utility meetings and track decisions and actions.
