Job summary

Staples, Inc. is seeking a supply chain leader to drive demand planning and fulfillment strategies for both B2B and B2C channels. You will optimize inventory, collaborate across channels, and push for data-driven improvements in forecast accuracy and process efficiency.

The role requires a seasoned professional with experience in analytics, cross-functional leadership, and change management to help the organization become more responsive and cost-effective.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED (Not required here)
• Minimum of 5 years relevant experience
• Experience with business intelligence/decision support software
• Experience in JDA software
• Experience in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Access, Word, PowerPoint, Power BI), SQL and VBA
• Travel - 50% as needed depending on the project

Responsibilities

• Execute and drive demand planning and fulfillment strategy for B2B and B2C.
• Identify opportunities and implement new inventory processes to improve turns and service.
• Collaborate with channels to build a collaborative planning, forecasting and fulfillment process.
• Review channel inventory KPIs and discuss results with cross-functional teams.
• Drive continuous improvement in demand forecasts and predictive models.
• Support shift from fixed to demand-driven fulfillment.
• Identify inventory opportunities between sales channels and coordinate with Merchant teams.
• Review promotional impacts on the supply chain.
• Coordinate with vendors on POs and KPIs to ensure smooth flow of merchandise.
• Advance analytics to move to a data-driven organization.
