Job summary

Staples is seeking a Senior Manager, Supply Chain Planning, Project Management & Procurement to drive complex, cross-functional initiatives connecting supply chain operations, systems, procurement and strategic priorities.

You will partner with Corporate, Field Operations, Sales, Procurement, Finance, Technology and external vendors to deliver programs that improve readiness, scalability and execution. This role blends strategic thinking with hands-on governance and implementation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Business, Engineering, or related field.
• 10+ years of progressive experience in supply chain, operations, project management, or related roles.
• Proven success leading cross-functional initiatives in a matrixed business environment.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for senior leadership.
• Proficiency with project management tools and enterprise systems.
• Experience supporting technical, engineering, or infrastructure projects.
• Demonstrated leadership including coaching and team development.
• Ability to influence decisions, navigate ambiguity, and create structure.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end planning and execution of complex supply chain projects and systems integrations.
• Partner across functions to align scope, timelines, dependencies, and outcomes.
• Drive governance, milestone tracking, risk management, and executive updates.
• Translate requirements into scalable processes, plans, and tools.
• Support infrastructure and field initiatives including network changes and deployment.
• Lead cross-functional planning forums and address dependencies.
• Oversee procurement-related activities tied to initiatives.
• Use dashboards, reporting, and data analysis to measure progress and inform decisions.
• Provide leadership to project managers and coordinators for accountability.
