Job summary

GAI Consultants, Inc. seeks a Senior Project Manager with 15+ years of experience in transportation and roadway design management to join our Jacksonville, FL team.

The ideal candidate will manage client relationships with FDOT and local governments, lead multi-project portfolios, and drive growth with sales and technical leadership. Responsibilities include directing project scope, schedule, budget, and profitability; mentoring PMs; and partnering with senior management on business development.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of total engineering/technical experience; 10+ years as PM
• Proven external client engagement and relationships
• PE/PLS/PG/RLA license required; PMP preferred
• Willingness to learn GAI PM procedures; valid driver's license

Responsibilities

• Manage scope, schedule, budget, quality, safety and profitability of projects or portfolios.
• Directly manages multi-million dollar yearly billings and larger portfolios.
• Develop schedules, cost budgets and analyze financial data for projects.
• Collaborate with Project Controls to monitor costs and billings and develop recovery plans.
• Mentor and guide PMs; lead cross-office project teams; support business development.
