Job summary

GAI Consultants, Inc. in Jacksonville, FL seeks a Senior Roadway Engineer with 15+ years of transportation design and program leadership to guide complex highway projects and client relationships with FDOT and NE Florida agencies.

You will split time between project management and technical delivery, oversee portfolios over several million dollars, mentor PMs, and drive business development while maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and profitability.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 15 years total engineering/technical experience
• At least 10 years as a Project Manager leading projects/portfolios
• Proven external client engagement and relationship-building experience
• PE, PLS, PG, RLA, etc. license required; PMP preferred

Responsibilities

• Deliver scope, schedule, budget, quality, safety and profitability of projects/portfolios
• Plan and manage high-value, high-risk projects or portfolios
• Directly manage multi-million-dollar annual billings
• Lead business development pursuits as a senior company representative
• Mentor PMs and develop senior staff
