Job summary

French & Parrello Associates (FPA) seeks an experienced Project Manager to lead Highway & Traffic transportation improvement projects in Camden and Wall, NJ. You will manage design delivery, schedules, budgets, staff, and construction support while ensuring standards compliance and strong client relationships.

The role offers direct client interaction, technical direction to engineers, and opportunities to grow within a growing Northeast firm recognized for Best Places to Work.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of related work experience.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license in New Jersey required.
• Proficient with AutoCAD Civil3D and MicroStation design software.
• Experience in management and design of roadway, traffic, and/or bridge improvement projects (NJDOT or PennDOT experience a plus).
• Highly motivated and eager to work on a diverse range of transportation improvement projects for local, county, and state agencies.
• Well versed in local and national design standards.
• Knowledge of traffic engineering principles is a plus.
• Willingness to represent FPA at professional societies and technical seminars.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and lead design and delivery of roadway, bridge, and transportation projects.
• Oversee project schedules, budgets, staffing, and construction support.
• Maintain direct client relationships and provide technical direction.
• Collaborate with regional and department management on proposals and business development.
• Delegate tasks to staff engineers and supervise their work.
