The role requires 12+ years in transportation planning and design, a Registered Professional Engineer license, and a proven track record of profitable project delivery and local market relationships.

Qualifications

• 12+ years in transportation planning, traffic engineering and design.
• Registered Professional Engineer (P.E.) license required.
• Proven track record of winning and delivering work in the local area.
• Established relationships with local DOTs, agencies or municipalities.
• Ability to manage projects profitably and lead teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead growth of the Transportation Planning/Traffic practice in Richmond and beyond.
• Assist in marketing and business development with municipal, state, and private clients.
• Deliver transportation planning, traffic engineering, roadway and ITS projects.
• Provide vision, planning, and strategy for the practice growth.
• Mentor staff, transition work to qualified personnel, and manage resources.
• Drive profitability and foster strong client relationships with integrity.
