Job summary

Dewberry is seeking a Senior Transportation Project Manager (Alternative Delivery) for our Atlanta, GA office. This role focuses on leading Transportation Alternative Delivery projects and strengthening our Georgia and southeast transportation practice.

Based in Atlanta, GA, you will manage scope, budget, and schedule while coordinating with design-build partners and clients such as GDOT and local agencies. We encourage diverse, authentic workplaces and support relocation where needed.

Qualifications

• BS in Civil/Transportation Engineering.
• 15+ years of progressive experience on transportation infrastructure projects.
• 10+ years as a Design Manager delivering alternative delivery and design-build projects.
• Georgia PE license, or ability to obtain within 6 months.
• Knowledge of design-build teaming and professional services agreements.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Strong leadership and project management skills.
• Effective client management skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of Transportation Alternative Delivery projects, including scope, budget, and schedule ensuring successful completion of projects.
• Lead and manage support staff and document production.
• Develop and maintain client relations with local design-build contractors and design teaming partners.
• Participate in business development activities including collaborating with our team in the marketing of new projects, proposal preparation, teaming arrangements and client relationship management.
• Interface regularly with GDOT and/or Municipal/County clients.
