Job summary

Dewberry Engineers Incorporated's Atlanta, GA office is seeking a Transportation/Roadway Engineer to join a growing practice within a national transportation network. Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering is required.
  • 7+ years of progressive roadway design experience, preferably in Georgia.
  • Georgia PE license or ability to obtain within 6 months is required.
  • Proficiency with OpenRoads Designer and MicroStation.
  • Georgia DOT and local government design experience preferred.
  • GDOT Plan Development Process certification preferred.
  • Energetic with ability to work in a team environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

In this position, you'll collaborate with a talented team and an experienced Georgia Transportation Leader to drive the expansion of our transportation design practice in Georgia, backed by the resources of a national transportation network.

Responsibilities

  • Assuming task management responsibilities.

Required Skills & Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
  • 7+ years of progressive experience in roadway design, preferably in Georgia.
  • Georgia PE license, or ability to obtain within 6 months.
  • Proficiency with OpenRoads Designer and MicroStation.
  • Georgia DOT and Georgia local government design experience.
  • GDOT Plan Development Process certification preferred.
  • Energetic with ability to work in a team environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
