Alternative Delivery Design Manager - West Region

Job Location: Denver, CO (preferred locations: Sacramento, CA or Washington). Dewberry is seeking an Alternative Delivery Design Manager for our West region.

This is an excellent career opportunity to join a top Transportation Design firm. The role offers the opportunity for hybrid or remote work.

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of Transportation Alternative Delivery projects, including scope, budget, and schedule, ensuring successful completion of projects.
• Lead and manage support staff and document production.
• Develop and maintain client relations with local design-build contractors and design teaming partners.
• Participate in business development activities, including collaborating with our team in marketing new projects, proposal preparation, teaming arrangements, and client relationship management.
• Interface regularly with WashDOT and/or Municipal/County clients.

Required Skills & Experience

• BS degree in Civil/Transportation Engineering.
• 15+ years of progressive experience working on transportation infrastructure projects.
• 10+ years of experience as a Design Manager delivering alternative delivery and design-build projects.
• Washington or California PE license required.
• SE license preferred.
• Knowledge of design-build teaming and professional services agreements.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong leadership and project management skills.
• Effective client management skills.
