Job summary

Dewberry seeks a Senior Transportation Project Manager (Alternative Delivery) for the Atlanta, GA office. You will lead transportation projects, grow the Georgia and southeast practice, and collaborate with design-build partners to deliver innovative solutions.

Responsibilities include managing scope, budget, and schedule; directing staff; strengthening client relations; and helping with business development and client management with local agencies.

Qualifications

• BS in Civil/Transportation Engineering or closely related field.
• 15+ years in transportation infrastructure projects.
• 10+ years delivering alternative delivery and design-build projects.
• Georgia PE license or ability to obtain within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of Transportation Alternative Delivery projects, including scope, budget, and schedule ensuring successful completion of projects.
• Lead and manage support staff and document production.
• Develop and maintain client relations with local design-build contractors and design teaming partners.
• Participate in business development activities including collaborating with our team in the marketing of new projects, proposal preparation, teaming arrangements and client relationship management.
• Interface regularly with GDOT and/or Municipal/County clients.

Required Skills & Required Experience

• BS degree in Civil/Transportation Engineering.
• 15+ years of progressive experience working on transportation infrastructure projects.
• 10+ years of experience as a Design Manager delivering alternative delivery and design-build projects.
• Georgia PE license, or ability to obtain within 6 months.
• Knowledge of design-build teaming and professional services agreements.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Strong leadership and project management skills.
• Effective client management skills.
