Job summary

CyberCoders, Inc. is seeking an experienced Project Manager in Transportation Engineering to lead IDOT projects and direct roadway design efforts. A PE license and strong background in transportation engineering are required.

You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, manage schedules and budgets, mentor junior engineers, and ensure regulatory compliance throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
• 7+ years of experience in transportation engineering and roadway design.
• Experience with Phase I and Phase II design phases and roadway construction.
• Proficiency with MicroStation and traffic modeling tools (Synchro, HCS).

Responsibilities

Position Overview

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in transportation engineering, with a focus on delivering innovative and efficient design solutions that meet client expectations and regulatory standards.

• Lead the planning and design of Phase I and Phase II transportation projects, including roadway design and traffic modeling.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure project success and compliance with IDOT regulations.
• Conduct traffic studies and analyze data to inform design decisions.
• Oversee the preparation of engineering documents and specifications for transportation projects.
• Manage project schedules, budgets, and resources effectively to meet project deadlines.
