Job summary

You will guide design teams, manage schedules and budgets, and engage with clients while mentoring junior engineers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering and PE license.
• 15+ years in transportation with roadway/bridge expertise.
• 10-15 years in transportation design project management.
• Proven leadership, communication, and coordination skills.
• Experience with ADOT, county and municipal projects.

Responsibilities

• Manage complex transportation and transit design projects from concept through construction.
• Lead design teams to meet schedules, budgets and client expectations.
• Solve technical challenges with strategic thinking and collaboration.
• Coordinate meetings, subconsultants and project milestones.
• Support business development and client engagement across Arizona and the Southwest.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to staff growth.
• Collaborate with global teammates to maximize digital tools and design capabilities.
• Ensure quality control and adherence to Jacobs’ processes.
