Job summary

Arcadis is seeking a Senior Project Manager to join our Mobility team in Orlando, FL. This hybrid role leads transportation projects with a focus on public sector programs, guiding multidisciplinary teams from pursuit to delivery.

The ideal candidate has 15+ years in highway/transportation engineering and a Florida PE license, with strong leadership and client relationship skills to drive growth and ensure quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of progressive highway or transportation engineering design and project management experience.
• Experience leading multi-disciplinary teams.
• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or related field.

Responsibilities

• Lead and deliver complex FDOT and municipal transportation programs—overseeing multidisciplinary teams across planning, design, right-of-way, and public safety, from pursuit through final delivery.
• Provide end-to-end project leadership including scope, schedule, budget, risk, and QA/QC, ensuring alignment with client objectives, regulatory requirements, and Arcadis standards.
• Build, mentor, and scale a high-performing transportation team, driving accountability and development while overseeing recruitment.
• Drive strategic growth and operational performance through resource planning, workload forecasting, and identifying new market opportunities.
• Serve as a trusted client advisor, strengthening key relationships and leading proposals and pursuits.
• Collaborate across internal teams and external partners to deliver high-quality, innovative solutions.
• Represent Arcadis in industry forums, enhancing brand visibility and stakeholder engagement.
