Zusammenfassung

RK&K is seeking a Senior Project Engineer to lead planning, design, and delivery of transportation projects across the firm. You will collaborate with experienced engineers and project managers on Design-Bid-Build, Design-Build, P3, and other delivery types, contributing to ORD roadway design, modeling, and plan production tasks.

Fully remote candidates will be considered, though a hybrid work arrangement based in Fairfax, VA is preferred. Travel may be required as needed by projects.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Active PE license in VA or ability to obtain within 6 months.
• Experience with transportation infrastructure design.
• Familiarity with ORD for roadway design and modeling.

Aufgaben

• Lead or support technical design on highways, interchanges, tollways, and transit corridors.
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams across offices to develop design solutions.
• Serve as liaison between internal teams, clients, contractors, and stakeholders.
• Develop and review plans, specifications, cost estimates, and design reports using ORD.
• Participate in proposals, design-build pursuits, and technical presentations.
• Mentor junior engineers and support career development within the project team.
• Ensure quality control and compliance with standards and client requirements.
• Stay informed about industry trends and alternative delivery methods.
