C&S Companies in Buffalo, NY is seeking a senior transportation engineer to lead projects from concept through construction. You’ll serve as a technical resource for clients and project teams, delivering NYSDOT and Federal Aid transportation projects while mentoring younger engineers.

You’ll manage highway design using NYSDOT standards, prepare design reports and bid documents, build lasting client relationships, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver practical

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• NYSDOT/Federal Aid project experience preferred.
• 8+ years of transportation engineering experience.
• Proficiency with MicroStation/OpenRoads and/or AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead highway/transportation projects from planning through construction.
• Lead roadway design using NYSDOT standards and Federal Aid requirements.
• Prepare design reports, construction plans, specifications, and bid documents.
• Provide technical leadership and quality oversight throughout delivery.
• Build strong, long-term client and agency relationships.
• Mentor engineers and develop the next generation of transportation professionals.
