Qualifications

• 5-10 years of relevant roadway experience (TxDOT preferred).
• Practical working knowledge of TxDOT Roadway Design Manual.
• Ability to design a TxDOT project from beginning to end.

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering design for highway and roadway plans.
• Manage task assignments for younger engineers.
• Coordinate with Sub-consultants.
• Oversee plan production.

Skills

Geometric design for roadways/highways

Strong working knowledge of MicroStation

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Strong working knowledge of MS Office

Education

Bachelor's degree in civil engineering from an ABET accredited program

Registered Professional Engineer, Texas preferred
