Apex Companies is seeking a Project Manager to lead transportation infrastructure projects across Florida, coordinating with FDOT, counties, and municipalities. You will manage scope, budgets, and schedules while guiding multidisciplinary teams to successful delivery and maintain strong client relationships.

Ideal candidates will hold a Florida PE license with 8+ years of transportation engineering experience and a proven track record delivering public-sector projects.

Qualifications

• Florida Professional Engineer (PE) license is required.
• 8+ years of transportation engineering experience.
• Experience delivering projects for FDOT, counties, municipalities or other public-sector clients.
• Strong understanding of FDOT standards and project delivery processes.
• Ability to lead teams and develop staff while maintaining client relationships.

Responsibilities

• Manage project scope, schedule, budget, and client communications.
• Lead multidisciplinary project teams through design, permitting, bidding and construction support.
• Oversee quality control and technical reviews on projects.
• Support business development, proposals, and client relationship management.
