Job summary

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in civil engineering or planning from ABET/EAC program.
• Self-motivated with strong work ethic.
• Strong organizational skills; ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with Word, Excel, Teams and design/GIS software encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Data collection in the field.
• Assist with portions of a broader assignment, under guidance of experienced staff.
• Perform standard computations or basic analysis.
• Prepare drawings, sketches, and visual aids.
• Assist in maintaining equipment inventory.
• Perform design tasks.
• Perform quantity estimates.
• Attend project meetings with senior staff.
• Contribute to writing report sections.
• Assist with basic QA/QC tasks; review of own work.
• Assists at various meetings including public and client meetings.
