Job summary

Owens Corning is seeking a Transportation Operations Leader for Doors to provide end-to-end leadership of inbound, transfer, and outbound transportation. You will partner with customer service, planning, manufacturing, procurement, and finance to deliver service, cost, and carrier performance while driving continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in a related field.
• 7-10 years of transportation/logistics leadership experience.
• Experience leading transportation or supply chain operations in a dynamic environment.
• Experience managing transportation providers and carrier performance.
• Experience with analytics, reporting, and business intelligence tools.
• Experience with transformation initiatives and technology implementations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead transportation execution across inbound, transfer, and outbound freight movements to ensure service, cost, and customer commitments.
• Translate strategy into operating priorities, resource plans, and standard work for the Doors transportation organization.
• Drive KPI performance, root-cause analysis, corrective action planning, and follow-through.
• Develop and implement transportation solutions to optimize cost and improve service.
• Collaborate with sourcing, planning, manufacturing, finance, and operations to align capacity and carrier performance.
• Leverage systems, analytics, and automation to improve decision making and visibility.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives focused on productivity, cost reduction, service reliability, and customer experience.
• Support transportation-related technology and transformation initiatives, including change management and readiness.
