Job summary

Owens Corning is seeking a Production & Warehouse Supervisor at the Cortland plant to lead safe, efficient, accurate, and compliant daily production and warehouse operations.

The role directs personnel, staffing, work assignments, material flow, inventory, shipping, receiving, quality execution, and TPM activities; you own daily execution within delegated authority and escalate broader business decisions to plant leadership.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 18 years of age, authorization to work in the United States, and proficiency in speaking, reading, and writing English.
• Manufacturing, production, warehouse, or material-handling experience.
• Ability to lead people, communicate clearly, organize changing priorities, solve problems, and work independently.
• Working knowledge of safety, quality, production, controlled documentation, shipping, receiving, inventory control, lot tracking, and material movement.
• Ability to read and enforce formulas, work orders, SOPs, JHAs, work instructions, production records, inventory records, and operating metrics.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ability to learn Fishbowl and other approved plant systems; ability to maintain required powered industrial vehicle certification.

Responsibilities

• Safety, Environmental, and Quality Leadership: lead safety controls, incident investigations, and corrective actions.
• Production and Warehouse Operations: plan daily work, monitor progress, manage staffing and inventory, coordinate shipping and receiving.
• Inventory, Systems, and Compliance: ensure accuracy, complete records, and proper system transactions.
• People Leadership and Development: set expectations, train, coach, and recognize performance.
• Maintenance, TPM, and Continuous Improvement: lead TPM activities, lean initiatives, and problem solving.
