Amazon is seeking a Senior Transportation Manager to lead TOM operations across Clarksville, Lebanon, and Nashville, TN. You will mentor and manage Operations and Area Managers, drive safety, quality, and productivity metrics, and partner with HR/Finance for resources and staffing.

This role demands strategic budgeting and long-term planning across multiple FCs. The position requires a strong track record in operations management within fulfillment or distribution centers, plus 6+ years of

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
• Experience in operations management of fulfillment or distribution centers.
• 6+ years of performance metrics, process improvement or lean techniques experience.
• Work a flexible schedule including weekends, nights, and holidays.
• 10+ years direct management experience in a manufacturing, production or distribution environment.

Responsibilities

• Owns and delivers the operational budget for functional area, including safety, productivity, financial and labor planning, and operational goals for TOM.
• Provides strategic level/long-term planning (3, 6, and 12 months out) including labor planning, forecasting, and peak season planning.
• Drives continuous improvement projects to optimize operations and improve productivity.
• Networks with other leaders across the network to solicit and share process improvements and drive efficiencies and cost savings.
• Establishes objectives and metrics for safety, quality, productivity, and customer experience.
• Sets clear goals and expectations for Operations and Area Managers; measures performance and provides feedback.
