Job summary

SLR Consulting (Americas) seeks a Senior Transportation (Traffic) Planner/Engineer for our Community and Mobility Planning (CAMP) team in New Haven, CT. The role focuses on private development/traffic impact work, public-sector mobility planning, safe streets, and smart growth while leading proposals and client relations.

Based in New Haven with ~2 days per week in-person, you will mentor staff, manage projects, and collaborate across disciplines for growth opportunities across our NE U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Transportation Engineering or Planning, or related field.
• 10+ years of increasingly responsible professional experience.
• Professional Engineer license or transportation-focused certification (e.g., PTP, PTOE, RSP)
• Strong verbal and written communication
