Job summary

Stantec is seeking a Senior Project Manager Transportation to join our Connecticut team in New Haven or Hartford. You will lead highway and roadway projects, manage budgets and schedules, and mentor engineers, planners, and project managers across the region.

You will work with CTDOT and municipalities, foster client relationships, and contribute to business development while guiding teams through planning, design, and delivery to ensure project success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• Licensed Professional Engineer (PE); Connecticut licensure preferred (or ability to obtain).
• Minimum of 15 years of progressive engineering experience.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Project Manager, Technical Lead, and Engineer of Record for highway and roadway infrastructure projects.
• Plan, organize, and manage project scope, schedules, budgets, and deliverables.
• Coordinate work among internal teams, subconsultants, contractors, and vendors.
• Act as the primary point of contact with clients, agencies, and stakeholders.
• Supervise and mentor developing professionals, supporting technical growth and career development.
