Job summary

Stantec is seeking a Senior Project Manager Transportation with 15+ years of experience to join our Connecticut team in New Haven or Hartford. You will lead complex highway projects, mentor teammates, and build trusted client relationships across the Northeast.

You’ll collaborate with engineers, planners, and project managers on high-profile projects such as Route 7/15 Interchange design and River Gateway studies, with strong growth opportunities and a hybrid work environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• Licensed PE; Connecticut licensure preferred (or ability to obtain).
• Minimum of 15 years of progressive engineering experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership and oversee delivery, budgets, and schedules for highway/roadway projects.
• Plan, organize, and manage project scope, schedules, budgets, and deliverables.
• Act as primary contact with clients, agencies and stakeholders; lead meetings with municipalities and CTDOT.
• Supervise and mentor developing professionals and review team deliverables.
• Support business development, including SOQs, proposals, and client interviews.
