Job summary

Beehive Industries is seeking a Transportation and Logistics Leader to develop, implement, and manage our multi-site distribution strategy in Centennial, CO. You will oversee end-to-end movement of materials and finished goods between suppliers, plants, and customers, ensuring on-time delivery and cost efficiency.

The role requires 8+ years in logistics, hands-on experience with ERP/MES and TMS, and the ability to obtain a U.S. government security clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, Operations, or related field.
• 8+ years of experience in transportation, logistics, or supply chain management with increasing responsibility.
• Proven success managing multi-site logistics operations and carrier/vendor relationships.
• Strong knowledge of domestic transportation modes.
• Experience with regulatory compliance including DOT, ITAR, EAR, and hazardous materials shipping.
• Proficiency with ERP/MES systems and Transportation Management Systems (TMS).
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government security clearance; U.S. Citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute a multi-site transportation and logistics strategy.
• Assess processes, identify gaps, and standardize inbound/outbound logistics.
• Select and manage transportation modes to balance cost, speed, reliability.
• Develop contingency and risk management plans for supply disruptions.
• Negotiate contracts with freight carriers and partners.
• Maintain relationships with service providers and ensure performance.
• Manage freight spend, contracts, and rates to ensure competitive pricing.
• Establish standard shipping/receiving work at each site.
• Implement logistics KPIs and report results to leadership.
• Oversee scheduling, load planning, and routing.
• Drive continuous improvement to reduce costs and lead times.
• Ensure compliance with DOT, ITAR, EAR; maintain shipping docs.
• Implement safety and security protocols.
• Collaborate with Procurement, Operations, and Program teams.
• Collaborate with suppliers to improve inbound delivery reliability.
• Partner with site ops to streamline receiving, inspection, storage.
• Evaluate and implement logistics systems or ERP/MES integration.
• Use data analytics to forecast transportation needs and identify cost-savings.
