Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or Business (MBA preferred).
• 7+ years experience in supply chain and logistics or equivalent.
• Proven ability to build teams and coalitions to accomplish cross-functional goals.

• Strong communications skills; ability to communicate across all levels.
• Experience identifying and implementing best-in-class logistics solutions.
• Proven financial skills; ability to conduct spend analysis and trade-offs.

Responsibilities

• Oversee inbound and outbound logistics network to optimize cost and service.
• Manage a transportation budget of roughly $750M and a carrier network (Truckload, Intermodal, Rail, Parcel, LTL, dedicated fleet).
• Lead and develop internal teams and 3rd party providers to improve performance.
• Collaborate with internal plants, materials teams, and trade partners to optimize logistics performance.
• Drive strategic transportation initiatives across Whirlpool’s network in North America.
• Support cross-border operations with Mexico and Canada.
• Lead freight bids, define operational requirements, and approve carrier awards.
• Ensure data-backed decisions with reporting tools and dashboards.
