Job summary

Whirlpool Corporation in the United States seeks a Senior Manager, Transportation to optimize the inbound and outbound logistics network across multiple plants and distribution centers. You will lead a team and a Lead Logistics Provider to balance service and cost, while driving strategic projects and cross-border operations with Mexico and Canada.

The role requires strong leadership, stakeholder collaboration, and proven experience in carrier management, load planning, and budget stewardship

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics or Business.
• 7+ years in supply chain/logistics or equivalent with manufacturers, retailers or 3PLs.
• Proven leadership and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Strong financial acumen and spend analysis experience.

Responsibilities

• Own overall transportation cost and service performance for a large network.
• Lead cross-functional teams and manage carriers and bids.
• Drive cost reductions and service improvements across inbound/outbound logistics.
• Collaborate with internal customers, plants, and external providers.
• Oversee vendor relationships, freight bids, and network optimization projects.
