RK&K seeks an experienced Senior Project Manager/Construction Manager to lead transportation, infrastructure, rail, utility, and transit projects across Northern Virginia and the DC metro region. You will manage from planning through construction, serving as a trusted advisor to clients and delivering on schedule, on budget, and to high quality standards.

The role requires 15+ years of progressive experience, a PE license, and proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams while ensuring

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• 15+ years of progressive experience in project and construction management.
• Proven experience managing large, complex projects with multidisciplinary teams.
• Professional Engineer (P.E.) certification.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage multiple construction and infrastructure projects.
• Serve as primary client contact with agencies and stakeholders.
• Direct multidisciplinary project teams including field staff.
• Oversee scope, schedule, budget, quality, and risk management.
• Monitor contractor performance, changes, claims, and field issues.
• Lead meetings, coordination, and client communications.
• Manage financials: forecasting, staffing, invoicing.
• Ensure compliance with contracts, safety, and QA procedures.
• Mentor staff and foster a high-performing team.
• Support business development and pursuit of new opportunities.
