Job summary

V3 Companies, Ltd. in Chicago, IL is seeking a Transportation & Infrastructure Project Manager with a track record in Phase I and II transportation projects for public works and municipalities.

You will lead design teams, manage budgets, schedules, and client relationships across multiple offices. The ideal candidate has a Civil Engineering degree, a PE license, 10+ years of experience, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering and an Illinois PE license are required.
• 10+ years of related experience in transportation and public works.
• Strong communication and listening skills; ability to lead multi-disciplinary teams.
• Proficiency with IDOT/Illinois Tollway standards; OpenRoads Designer is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and design of transportation and public works projects from concept through final design.
• Prepare concept, feasibility, and Phase I studies.
• Prepare plans, specifications, and cost estimates per standards.
• Collaborate with other project managers and disciplines on multi-disciplinary projects.
• Support staff development, mentoring and training needs.
