Qualifications

• 10+ years of related experience in transportation engineering.
• Strong communication and listening skills.
• Experience leading/delivering Phase I and Phase II projects involving roadways, expressways, intersections, bridges, utilities, streetscapes, and multimodal accommodations.

Responsibilities

• Lead transportation and public works projects from concept through final design.
• Prepare concept, feasibility, and Phase I studies.
• Prepare plans, specifications, and cost estimates per IDOT, Illinois Tollway, and local agency standards.
• Collaborate with other PMs and disciplines on multi-disciplinary projects and pursuits.
• Mentor staff and ensure QA of Phase I/II documents.
• Prepare proposals and participate in interviews for new projects.
• Engage in business development with public sector clients.
• Manage client relationships, including billing and collections.
