Job summary

Amazon's Transportation Finance team in Irving, Texas seeks a Senior Financial Analyst to drive financial planning, data mining and strategic analyses for cost optimization across Surface Transportation. You will partner with Operations, Finance and Technology to shape long-term strategy and deliver high-visibility insights.

You will build financial models, perform KPI-driven analyses, and lead automation initiatives to improve tools and processes, while communicating clearly with business

Qualifications

• 3+ years in tax, finance or related analytical field
• 4+ years AR/AP experience
• 4+ years applying KPIs to analyses
• 4+ years process improvements with automation
• 4+ years identifying and executing improvements to finance tools
• 3+ years dissecting financial data to support strategy
• 3+ years cross-functional initiatives driving financial performance
• Bachelor's degree in engineering/statistics/business or 5+ years quantitative role
• Six Sigma Black Belt
• Experience with SQL for data mining and BI
• Lean sensei or QA engineer experience

Responsibilities

• Perform Loaded Drive Time and S&D impact analyses
• Track implementation of Loaded Drive Time strategy during planning cycles
• Own monthly, quarterly and annual financial planning cycles with narrative
• Perform trade-off analysis among Loaded Drive Time, TPA and Supply Mix
• Analyze cost-out initiatives and support leadership in execution
• Collaborate with leaders to foster constructive dialogue and drive decisions
