Amazon is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to support Transportation Services, driving financial reporting and analytics for the transportation space. You will own the close process, build data-rich dashboards, and collaborate across Transportation, Fulfillment, Supply Chain, and Tech to optimize costs and drive efficiency.

The role requires strong SQL and Excel skills, experience in cost analysis, and the ability to communicate complex finance issues clearly to stakeholders at all levels.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting or related field.
• 3+ years of finance, tax or related analytical experience.
• 3+ years of cross-functional initiatives driving performance.
• Experience with advanced SQL for data mining & BI.

Responsibilities

• Build financial models, interpret data, and make strategic recommendations.
• Lead weekly/monthly close; produce dashboards, plans, budgets, and consolidations.
• Drive continuous process improvement and standardization in controllership.
• Support financial reporting and operating planning across teams.
• Prepare concise, stakeholder-tailored documents for leadership.
• Effectively communicate findings to diverse audiences.
• Collect and analyze data to develop cost-reduction reports.
• Leverage AI tools to enable advanced workflows.
