Job summary

Amazon Freight Finance is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join its Transportation Finance team in Irving, TX. This role focuses on budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling for Truck Load, Less-Than Truck Load and Inter-modal businesses.

You will partner with Operations, Pricing, Product, and Sales to optimize cost-to-serve and drive strategic cost management. You will develop ROI, cash flow projections, and IRR analyses, align planning with the Worldwide FP&A process, and influence

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, economics, or a related analytical field
• 3+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience
• 3+ years of contributing to cross-functional initiatives that drive financial performance and strategy
• 3+ years of dissecting financial data and identifying patterns that support business strategy

Responsibilities

• Own and perform OPEX planning for Truck Load, LTL and Inter-modal businesses with input-based drivers
• Partner with Operations, Pricing, Product, Sales to define gearing ratios and cost-to-serve solutions
• Own and perform E2E CAPEX planning with ROI, FCF, PBP, IRR models and CAR approval
• Partner with Cross Functional teams on cost allocation for OPEX and CAPEX and reporting
• Identify opportunities to resolve defects and improve finance tools across teams
• Collaborate with FP&A and partner finance teams to integrate AF plan into Worldwide plan
• Improve data integrity and controls with Controllership
• Communicate data clearly and concisely using written and verbal channels
