Job summary

Qualifications

• Requires seven years of professional experience in Section 106 and historic resources documentation.
• Travel may be required; a valid driver's license is required.

Responsibilities

• Review historic-resource surveys, technical reports, eligibility evaluations, effects assessments, and environmental documentation.
• Supervise employees within the Historic Resources Unit.
• Coordinate with SHPO, FHWA, consultants, project teams, and other agencies and stakeholders.
• Guide project teams in avoiding, minimizing, and mitigating impacts to historic properties.
• Manage consultant scopes, schedules, budgets, and technical deliverables.
• Support development and implementation of agreements and mitigation commitments.
• Coordinate historic-resource requirements with roadway design, structures, right-of-way, utilities, permitting, and construction activities.
