Job summary

Horrocks seeks a Senior Transportation Director to lead transportation projects from concept to completion. You will drive client relations, manage scoping, budgets, and schedules, and coordinate with offices to deliver quality DOT-driven transportation engineering work.

The role requires 15+ years in PM and business development, AZ PE license, and proven ability to win projects and lead teams. Local work and cross-office collaboration are expected.

Qualifications

• Requires BS in Civil Engineering and AZ PE license.
• 15+ years in project management and business development.
• DOT project delivery experience preferred.
• Proven ability to manage deadlines and budgets.
• Strong written and oral communication and client skills.
• Willing to work locally or in workshare with other offices.

Responsibilities

• Lead Horrocks design teams to deliver transportation projects.
• Identify and win new DOT and private sector opportunities.
• Develop scope, budget, and schedules for projects.
• Coordinate subconsultants for deliverables.
• Interface with state and municipal agencies and clients.
• Lead project meetings and resource sharing across offices.
• Oversee Quality Control / Quality Assurance per program.
• Cultivate client relationships and pursue BD opportunities.
• Manage multiple projects concurrently.
