Job summary

Horrocks is seeking a Senior Transportation Director in Phoenix, AZ, to lead and manage design teams for various transportation projects. The ideal candidate will have over 15 years of project management experience, a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, and a AZ Professional Engineering license.

You will be responsible for pursuing new engineering opportunities, developing and tracking project scopes and budgets, while ensuring quality control and cultivating client relationships.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of Project Management & Business Development Experience.
• Demonstrated experience delivering transportation projects for DOTs, municipalities, counties, or regional agencies.
• Solid written and oral communication skills.
• Proficiency with project accounting practices and systems.

Responsibilities

• Manage and lead Horrocks design teams to deliver transportation projects.
• Identify, pursue, and win new transportation engineering opportunities.
• Develop and track scope, budget, and schedules for projects.
