Job summary

Kiewit Infrastructure Engineering (KIE) has an immediate opening for a Transportation Infrastructure Design Engineering Manager in its Design Build Group. This senior role leads multidisciplinary teams across civil, structural, geotechnical, drainage, and related disciplines in design-build delivery.

Based in Lone Tree, CO, with opportunities to work on nationwide projects. The candidate will manage budgets, schedules, and staffing, mentor staff, and ensure engineering quality and safety.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related design/construction discipline.
• Licensed Architect (RA) or PE with ability to obtain registration in additional states/provinces.
• 10+ years of experience delivering large, multidisciplinary infrastructure projects.
• Experience delivering projects through Design-Build or alternative delivery methods.

Responsibilities

• Leads and manages technical design teams during pursuit or final design project.
• Controls design tasks per criteria and project management plans.
• Mentors junior staff and develops professional skills.
• Develops project budgets, schedules and staffing for final design projects.
• Reviews and administers engineering and consultant contracts.
