Job summary

Kiewit Infrastructure Engineers seeks a Senior Geotechnical Engineer based in Lone Tree, CO to lead geotechnical studies for transportation infrastructure projects across the US and Canada. You will oversee reports, analyses, and directions for staff, working with a multi-disciplinary team to identify risks and develop practical solutions.

Requires a Master’s in Geotechnical Engineering, 15+ years of relevant experience, and a Professional Engineer license.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Geotechnical Engineering required.
• 15+ years of geotechnical experience on transportation infrastructure projects.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license in the U.S.
• Strong geotechnical knowledge and problem-solving skills.
• Alternative Delivery experience preferred.
• Experience designing deep/shallow foundations, slope stability, seismic design, earth retention, rock mechanics.

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering assignments in support of Kiewit Corporation business.
• Oversee production and review of geotechnical reports and analyses.
• Direct and develop staff geotechnical engineers.
• Support bid phase development and risk mitigation for design-build projects.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide practical solutions.
• Train and mentor junior engineers.
