Job summary

Dynamic Engineering Consultants, PC is seeking a Transportation Senior Design Engineer to lead technical production of traffic and roadway design documents. You will collaborate with municipal, county, and state agencies, and guide project teams to deliver plans within deadlines.

The role requires a Civil Engineering degree, 3+ years of traffic/transportation experience, and an EIT credential, with PE licensure pursued actively. Strong AutoCAD Civil 3D and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Transportation Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum of 3+ years of experience in traffic/transportation engineering.
• Engineer-In-Training (EIT) certification required.
• Working towards Professional Engineer (PE) licensure within a reasonable timeframe.
• Valid driver's license and ability to operate a personal/company vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Produce plans including roadway widening, ADA improvements, traffic signal installation, etc., in public ROW.
• Review agency standards to identify project constraints.
• Develop construction cost estimates and opinions of probable cost.
• Coordinate with utilities and stakeholders.
• Maintain project objectives, timelines, and budgets.
• Prepare technical reports and QA reviews.
• Mentor junior staff and lead sub-consultants as needed.
• Communicate with clients and reviewing jurisdictions.
