Dynamic Engineering Consultants, PC is seeking a Transportation Senior Design Engineer to lead traffic/roadway design documentation and collaborate with clients and agencies on regional projects.

The role requires a civil/transportation engineering degree, 3+ years of traffic experience, EIT, and pursuit of PE licensure. Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and strong communication skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil/transportation engineering or related field is required.
• Engineer-In-Training (EIT) certification is required; licensure as a PE is expected within a reasonable timeframe.
• Minimum 3+ years of experience in traffic/transportation engineering.
• Valid driver's license and ability to operate company vehicle when needed.

Responsibilities

• Produce plans including roadway/widening, drainage, and traffic signing & striping plans.
• Coordinate with municipal/state agencies and clients; ensure compliance with standards.
• Develop construction cost estimates and opinions of probable cost.
• Mentor junior staff and provide QC reviews of deliverables.
• Lead sub-consultants and coordinate multidisciplinary teams.
• Prepare technical reports as needed.
