The Texas Department of Transportation’s Corpus Christi District is seeking an experienced Transportation Engineer V for the Central Design Office in Corpus Christi, Texas. You will serve as a project manager, leading the development of PS&E projects and mentoring engineering staff.

• Experience leading PS&E projects and managing multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong engineering judgment and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to ensure compliance with standards and regulations.

Responsabilidades

• Monitor contract performance and evaluate deliverables.
• Review PS&E submissions and change orders.
• Perform advanced engineering design and prepare estimates.
• Review plans, specs, and shop drawings for traffic control and lighting.
• Coordinate changes to manuals and standard sheets.
• Write and review proposals and estimates for letting.
• Oversee consultant contracts and mentor staff.
• Lead multi-project planning within deadlines.
