Job summary

The role oversees subcontracts, insurance, bonding provisions and change management, mentors project staff on contract interpretation, drafts policy and mitigation documents, and serves as liaison to legal and client teams to resolve claims and disputes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Construction Management, Legal Studies or related field.
• 15 years of project management, contract drafting & negotiation, construction claims resolution or related experience.
• Strong written and oral communication, and ability to manage complex contracts.

Responsibilities

• Provide commercial support on resolving project issues, including application of contract provisions.
• Draft and co-draft technical memos, policy papers, and issue analysis.
• Oversee review of subcontractors, insurance and bonding provisions.
• Mentor and train project staff on contract interpretation and policy compliance.
• Assist in change orders, dispute resolution, and litigation support.
