Job summary

HR Green, Inc. invites an experienced Project Manager to lead large transportation construction initiatives. You will oversee projects over $500K, guide design and field teams, and ensure quality, safety, and timely delivery.

You will manage budgets, coordinate subconsultants, and liaise with clients and agencies. Strong leadership, communication, and constructability expertise are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management or equivalent required; CM degree preferred.
• 8+ years managing construction projects with supervisory experience on moderately complex plans.
• DOT and/or Toll Road experience required.
• Experience on transportation or water construction projects exceeding $5 million preferred.
• Supervisory/management experience and conflict resolution skills preferred.
• Familiarity with documentation and inspection procedures preferred.
• Understands complex construction issues including structural concerns, mass earthwork, and roadway geometry.
• Knowledge of surveying basics and MS Office suite.

Responsibilities

• Understand and interpret local, state, and federal standards; apply them to field conditions.
• Identify root causes of defects and develop practical solutions.
• Promote value engineering and evaluate contractor proposals outside of specs.
• Plan, coordinate, and supervise subconsultants; manage project invoices and scope.
• Lead progress meetings and attend city board meetings with stakeholders.
• Maintain client relations and provide guidance on schedule and costs.
• Perform quality assurance and constructability reviews; ensure conformance with plans.
